Painting for Edwards Construction
Santa Barbara, CA
Purple Painting has painted three public works projects in Santa Barbara for the general contractor Edwards Construction: the roof replacement at La Colina Jr High, the interior renovation of the Faulkner Gallery at the Santa Barbara Library, and the remodel of the Santa Barbara Municipal Tennis Courts.
The work covers priming and painting steel members, downpipes and gas pipes, stripping, bleaching and refinishing wood to 1920s historical standards, and sealing tannic wood ceilings and beams with a two-step prime. The owners were Santa Barbara Unified School District for La Colina Jr High and the City of Santa Barbara for the tennis courts.
