Santa Barbara Courthouse: Exterior Painting, Phase by Phase

Purple Painting has repainted the exterior of the historic Santa Barbara Courthouse, 1100 Anacapa Street, as the painting subcontractor to the general contractor Plant Construction on public works projects for the County of Santa Barbara. The work ran in five phases over five years, and the pages for the whole job, Phase 2 and Phase 3A are collected here.

Phase 2 covered the stucco walls, balconies, fascia and soffits, wood corbels, doors, windows and wrought iron, with plaster patching and the bell tower added by change order. Phase 3A covered the Hall of Records and Annex: plaster patching, stucco, windows, doors and metalwork, with deck coatings on the balconies.
