bench and bottom cubbies
The mudroom of a new custom home on the Mesa in Santa Barbara, built by Jed Hirsch General Building Contractor, is lined with tall built-in cabinet towers. The towers were painted in satin enamel, in the colour the designer approved.
The shiplap ceiling and the trim were painted in satin. The bench and the bottom cubbies of the towers were sanded, finished in a custom wood stain and sealed in clear. The cabinet under the window got the same stain, and has its own page.
