The back accent wall of a primary bedroom in Santa Barbara was finished in lime wash, and the other three walls were repainted.
Before the full application, we brushed colour samples on the wall for the client's approval, each on a section of wall primed with lime wash undercoater: a first round to narrow down the colour family, then a second to narrow down the exact colour.
We masked off everything that wasn't being finished and caulked in at the ceiling beams for clean lines. The accent wall was primed with a lime wash undercoater, then given two coats of lime wash, brushed on in a criss-cross action.
On the other three walls, we patched holes and fixed cracks in the drywall, sanded and spot primed the patches, and finished the walls with two coats of paint.
The photos show the sample patches on the wall. See our limewash service for more.
