Finished living room wall with a small window above a tile floor — Pre-Listing Interior Repaint, Santa Barbara

The house was on the market and wasn't selling, so the realtor, Jorden Angel of Zia Group, had Purple Painting give it a facelift. Earlier touch-ups had left the walls patchy, so we repainted and blended each wall corner to corner.

This house was on the market and wasn't selling, so the realtor, Jorden Angel of Zia Group, had us give it a facelift. Earlier touch-ups in the wrong colours had left the walls patchy. We matched the original colours and blended each wall corner to corner so the walls read clean and even for showings.

The third-floor bedrooms and hallway got a fresh coat corner to corner, and a dent in the third-floor hallway was patched and texture matched. The second-floor landing and dining room walls were blended, and the full living room wall was repainted.

How we did it

  1. Patch the hallway dent

A dent in the third-floor hallway was patched and the texture matched before painting.

  2. Repaint the bedrooms and hallway

One finish coat on the existing drywall walls of two bedrooms and the third-floor hallway, corner to corner, in a colour matched to the original upstairs wall colour.

  3. Blend the landing and dining room

The second-floor landing and dining room walls were dry-brush blended into the existing colour with one finish coat, around the rounded corner and behind the curtain.
