A San Roque Home, Santa Barbara: Deck, Living Room Walls and Brick Fireplace

Purple Painting did three separate jobs at this San Roque home. The first was stripping the white paint off the living room's brick fireplace: we brushed on paint stripper, covered it so it could work for at least a day, then scraped the brick clean.

The second was refinishing the backyard deck: we washed and sanded the deck, stairs and railings, restained the deck with a solid stain colour-matched to the original, gave the railings satin enamel and painted the two steel canopy posts black.

The third was inside: we prepped and repainted the living room walls at the fireplace mantle and the wall beside the entry door, taping, sanding, caulking and patching, priming the patch above the fireplace and painting two coats.
