Purple Painting repainted the exterior of the Advanced Vision Science buildings in Goleta, a maker of ophthalmic medical devices. The corrugated sheet metal building body and soffits were prepared and painted in a gray-blue wall colour with a direct-to-metal acrylic in eggshell.
The wood storage shed, body and eaves, was painted in the same gray-blue in a flat exterior acrylic. The shed trim, the metal fascia, gutters, doors and frames were painted white in the direct-to-metal acrylic, semi-gloss.
How we do it

Prepare the sheet metal
The corrugated sheet metal body and soffits were prepared, with the old paint removed where it was failing.

Prime the patches
Bare patches on the metal walls and doors were spot primed before the finish coat.

Paint the metal body and soffits
The sheet metal body and soffits were painted a gray-blue in eggshell.
