Painting for The Cove, Isla Vista

The Cove is a new gated community of five- and six-bedroom homes in Isla Vista, close to UCSB and the beach. Purple Painting turned 31 of its homes between one year’s residents and the next.

The work was billed by the hour, home by home, with the primer, plastic, paper, tape and roller covers included: about 470 hours of painting across the 31 homes, from four hours of touch-ups in some to more than forty in others.
