Meridian Group Real Estate Management manages more than 2,000 homes, condos and apartments across Santa Barbara County, many of them in Isla Vista next to UCSB. Purple Painting has turned 42 of its units between tenants since 2024, most of them in Isla Vista each June, with apartments in Goleta and Santa Barbara as well.
A turn is scoped room by room, walls, doors, closets and shelves, with touch-ups where a full coat isn’t needed. On one job we repainted five apartments complete and converted their kitchen cabinets from oil-based to water-based paint.
Between turns we take on the smaller jobs a manager needs done: a dining room ceiling repair, a two-bedroom apartment repainted complete with its tongue-and-groove ceiling, a bedroom’s wallpaper removed and the walls repainted, and parking lot striping.
